The Z-1200 features the usual Auto snapshot mode, Casio's signature Best Shot mode and video mode, as well as aperture priority, shutter priority and full manual exposure modes. Another key feature of the Z-1200 is the excellent image stabilization system which removes and reduces image noise, a highly reliable AutoFocus Assist system and a very sophisticated face recognition system. All of these allow for excellent image quality which doesn’t fall from that of even more sophisticated models.
