Being amongst the largest retailers of computer systems and computer peripherals worldwide Dell has a reputation for having top-notch products. The UltraSharp 2007FP is a 20.1 inch monitor which unlike most current displays is not a widescreen display but a standard 3:4 ratio display. The 2007FP has extensive ergonomic adjustment capabilities including pivot between portrait and landscape modes, tilt the of 20 degrees forward and 5 back, swivel of 45 degrees left or right, about 3.5 inches in height adjustment. It is also quite attractively designed colored in silver and black giving it a sophisticated look. Connectivity wise the 2007FP is also very versatile, there are two USB 2.0 ports, DVI-D and D-Sub (VGA) signal inputs and also S-Video and composite inputs for connecting additional devices. Up to 4 Input devices can be connected at once and selected via a dedicated button, there are also several Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture modes further enhancing multi device support. One of the sole downsides of this excellent display is the On Screen Menu which is slightly inconvenient to navigate and work with but thankfully once configuration is set you will rarely need to access it. The maximal resolution of the 2007FP is 1600x1200 making it almost fully compliant with playing HD video but it is less suitable for video watching than the parallel wide model. Overall, with superb image quality and screen uniformity this is one of the best monitors in this category.
